Again, Norfolk Southern
ran their employee Christmas train again this year on
December 12 and 13, 1998 between Decatur, IL, and
Niantic, IL. The pictures were taken by the old Wabash
Depot. I think this is the 4th year.In the past they have
used equipment form the Monticello Railway Museum. The
eastbound locomotive has always been a NS Operation
Lifesaver locomotive. This year was a special treat on
the motive power as can be seen in the pictures. DAMN
Ditch lights though!!! This is the first year for the
exIC office car too as seen right behind the Wabash F7.
A new addition as of
October 22, 1999 are KCS System SLIC maps of the Knasas City area through
Drexel, MO.
